About Selby Abbey Church (United Kingdom)

Selby Abbey Church is an Anglican parish church in the town of Selby, North Yorkshire, England.

It is one of the few surviving abbey churches of the medieval period in United Kingdom and was founded by Benedict of Auxerre in 1069 and subsequently built by the de Lacy family.

Selby Abbey Church is also where Jay Chou’s wedding was held at!
